Manzanita Brewing Co. has been establishing itself as a solid addition to the San Diego beer scene for the last year, and tomorrow they celebrate! Join them for beer, 3 gourmet food trucks, beer, live music, and of course, beer. The fun lasts all afternoon, so get out to East County to support one of San Diego's newest breweries and congratulate them on what they've accomplished over the last year.

Grilling

I am in my happy place when grilling out on my patio. The hot grill with its contents sizzling, the view of the San Diego skyline, and a cold beer in my hand. I certainly can't have a nice barleywine or Belgian quadruple grillside, those choices would just be too heavy. I save those for the meal or for sipping later in the evening. I typically have a nice IPA or bock beer to keep me company while flipping the burgers or tending to the carne asada. Whatever the meat and whatever the brew, grilling gives me an inner peace that is difficult to achieve anywhere else. Grab some meat, grab a brew, and get grilling!
