If you don't already have plans to celebrate the wonder and awe of beer today (although, being the weekend I'm sure you do) this is the reason you've been looking for.  The following is from the official website.

International Beer Day snuck up on me

I was so focused on #IPADay yesterday that I let International Beer Day sneak up on me. I hope you were able to celebrate this fine day, but check here for last minute celebrations in your area. Because we all need another excuse to drink beer!

National Drink Beer Day

September 28th is National Drink Beer Day. You didn't know that? Shame on you! The beauty of this day is that it can actually span 365 days, depending on how you celebrate it. However you choose to spend this special day, as you sip your brew this evening think about the love that went into the glass, can, or bottle that you are drinking. Enjoy!
